F.A.Q.'s
(Frequently Asked Questions)

Q: How does the coaching process work?  I have never had a coach before.

A:  When I become someone's coach, we will first talk about the discrepancy exists with your professional  goals.   After we determine some important issues and concerns you are having, we will prioritize them.  Finally, we will develop a goal for you with some immediate action steps.  You will determine how long you would like to implement your action steps before you reflect and we talk again.

Q: Will you ever come to where I work for observations or coaching time?

A: It is not necessary to meet face to face to have highly successful coaching meetings.  If you determine that you would like reflection on your instruction, you can always video tape lessons and send them to me.  This way, I am available to provide coaching sessions for anyone who desires coaching as we are not limited by geography.

Q: If I would like you to work with my staff and provide some consulting, how can I make that happen?

A: First you would need to go to your principal and possibly your leadership team.  Discuss what it is that you would like for your organization.  If interest is there, please contact me about possible agendas and prices. Then, I can develop a tentative agenda for you to present.

Q: I would like to have a workshop designed for my organization or a department in my organization, how do I reserve a time to have you come?

A: First determine your budgets and when you have available professional development openings for your organization.  Next, contact me about your needs for your staff and what topics you would like customized for your workshop. Finally, I will prepare a proposal for your organization which would allow you to finalize your workshop reservation.
