My seven plus years in staff development have included intense instruction on teacher quality, scientifically based research, data analysis and strategic teaching.

My workshops will always demonstrate effective teaching strategies as I am strongly opposed to pure lecturing style and its neglect of effectiveness on changing practices.

You can expect workshops to be interactive and collaborative and ample time devoted for professional discussion and reflection. I will not only instruct and guide, but will facilitate exploring and thinking including the research and theory of instruction.

I have several workshops on topics of high request such as building intervention programs, guided reading, balanced literacy and strategic teaching, and direct instruction; but, I will also create customized workshops to fit your needs.  I have several educational professional readings that I like to recommend, or can build an entire workshop in the style of book study and discussion.

I can guarantee my workshops to be of highest quality and of immediate benefit to the participants.

My full-day price for a workshop is $1500 per day plus expenses and includes all materials, handouts and supplies for all participants.
